Admissions to start School in September 2024 to August 2025
If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Reception or Years 1 to 6 during the this Academic Year then please complete and return the Supplementary Information Form ( available here). Forms should be returned to St Wilfrid's School Office.
Please also contact the North Yorkshire County Council Admissions Department to advise them that you are applying for our school. More information is available at www.northyorks.gov.uk/school-admissions.
Should you be unsuccessful in obtaining a place the appeals information is listed within the admissions policy.
Admissions to start Main School from September 2025
If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Year Reception starting in September 2025 then this will be handled directly by North Yorkshire County Council Admissions Department. You can find more information at www.northyorks.gov.uk/school-admissions. Applications should be received between 12 October 2024 and 15 January 2025.
In addition to the Local Authority procedure you will also need to complete a supplementary form for this school which is available here.
The national offer date is Wednesday 16 April 2025.

Appeals
You have a statutory right to appeal to an independent Admission Appeal Panel against a decision by the governors. Appeal forms are available at https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/education-and-learning/school-admissions along with details of the procedure should you wish to proceed.
