Admissions to join our School during the year - September 2025 to August 2026
If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Years 1 to 6 during this Academic Year then please complete and return the Supplementary Information Form. Forms should be returned to St Wilfrid's School Office.

Should you be unsuccessful in obtaining a place the appeals information is listed within the admissions policy.
Admissions to start Main School from September 2026
If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's in Year Reception starting in September 2026 then this will be handled directly by North Yorkshire County Council Admissions Department. You can find more information at www.northyorks.gov.uk/school-admissions. Applications should be received between 12 October 2025 and 15 January 2026.
In addition to the Local Authority procedure you will also need to complete a Supplementary Information Form for this school which should be returned to the school, link to the form is below. This is essential if you wish apply under a faith criterion.
The national offer date is Wednesday 16 April 2026.

Admissions to start Nursery
If you wish for your child to join St Wilfrid's Catholic Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) please complete and return the application form below and return to the school office together with a copy of their birth certificate. The latest admission policy for Nursery is available here Please note that admission to the Nursery does not guarantee a school place.
Appeals
You have a statutory right to appeal to an independent Admission Appeal Panel against a decision by the governors. Appeal forms are available at https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/education-and-learning/school-admissions along with details of the procedure should you wish to proceed. Forms should be returned to the Admission Appeals Office, North Yorkshire Council, Room 12, County Hall, NORTHALLERTON, DL7 8AD or emailed to appeals@northyorks.gov.uk within 10 working days wherever possible.
