eSafety Statement
At St Wilfrid's, we recognise that using IT based resources is an essential part of teaching and learning methodologies. The internet, particularly through access to online learning and other systems, opens up significant opportunities for pupils and this plays an important role in their everyday lives.
Whilst the school recognises the importance of promoting the use of computer technology throughout the curriculum, we also understand the need for safe internet access and appropriate use.
The school is committed to providing a safe environment for all members of it's community and this extends to use of IT resources. We have implemented key systems to prevent any harmful risks in accordance with the advice contained in this Government Policy.
